The Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA) gives the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded authority to set stronger standards and regulations across the cosmetics industry.
Among other requirements, these new rules call for greater transparency and a more detailed approach to ingredient disclosure.
As a brand that values transparency, safety, and trust, we welcome these changes and the enhanced consumer protections they bring. While MoCRA compliance will be required for all U.S. cosmetic brands by 2025, we’re committed to meeting these standards early.
